What can I say, a TF Tuned Pushed DHX 5.0 coil feels a whole lot better than the Monarch. Been out riding today and bashed it all over stones and rocks, smooth as silk all the way through the travel.

Great riding and great trail, you have everything we don't have,sun and mountains :-)
It actually feels quite smooth, however it could be the suspension design more than the shock doing it, I know Santa Cruz worked quite hard on getting a decent feel out of the 2009 bike. One day I'll stick a coil over on it and see what that does, maybe for the Alps this year. 
I'm sorry to say this Dave but I cleared that on my E120 in the clubs Summer 08 trip :-) cannot wait to blast it on the Nomad next time around, got a weekend in mind?
